Produced by Canis, this vehicle represents a classic body-on-frame SUV with a recognizable design inspired by the real Jeep Wrangler. In the first official GTA 6 trailer, a red Canis Mesa was spotted on a highway in Leonida Keys. The model combines square shapes, round headlights, and a removable roof characteristic of the prototype. In previous games in the series — GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas — the Mesa was two-door, but starting with GTA V, it became four-door. GTA 6 will likely also feature various off-road and snow variants, as in GTA Online.

Real-Life Prototype

The prototype for the Canis Mesa is the Jeep Wrangler (models YJ, TJ, or JK). The front grille with seven slots, square headlights, massive wheel arches, and short overhangs are borrowed from the Jeep Wrangler.
