Grotti Carbonizzare
Description and Design
Grotti Carbonizzare is a two-door sports car from the Italian manufacturer Grotti, returning in Grand Theft Auto VI. The car was spotted in the first official trailer of the game as well as in leaked gameplay footage. The Carbonizzare's design combines elements from several real prototypes: the rear and sides are inspired by the Aston Martin V12 Zagato and Ferrari F12, the headlights and air intakes resemble the TranStar Racing Dagger GT, and the taillights are taken from the Ferrari F430. Additionally, the car features a folding roof in the style of the Ferrari California. In GTA V and Online, this car was positioned as a "millionaire's sports car" and was popular due to its balanced performance.
Real Prototype
The main sources of inspiration for the Carbonizzare were:
The influence of the Nissan GT-R and Ferrari 458 Italia on the overall styling is also noted.
Performance and Handling in GTA 6
Since GTA 6 has not been released yet, precise specifications are unknown. However, based on the car's behavior in previous games, it can be expected that the Carbonizzare will have excellent acceleration and handling typical of rear-wheel-drive sports cars. In GTA V, it was considered one of the fastest cars in free mode. According to leaks and trailer analysis, in GTA VI the Carbonizzare will likely retain its dynamics but may feature improved physics handling aligned with the new handling system. The top speed is expected to be comparable to models like the Grotti Turismo R and Pegassi Zentorno. In leaked gameplay videos, the car demonstrates smooth acceleration and confident cornering, confirming its top-tier sports car status.
Tuning and Customization
At present, there is no official information about tuning options for the Carbonizzare in GTA 6. Most likely, players will be able to modify it at Los Santos Customs workshops, as in previous installments. Expected options include body paint, body kits, wheel rims, engine upgrades, and transmission improvements. Given the model's popularity, Rockstar Games may add exclusive customization parts available only for this car, such as unique spoilers or exhaust systems. A Benefactor version similar to the Grotti Itali GTO in GTA Online is also possible.
Appearance in GTA 6
The Grotti Carbonizzare was seen in the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI driving through the streets of Vice City. The car appears in a traffic jam scene against a backdrop of skyscrapers, indicating its widespread presence in the game world. The car also appears in leaked gameplay footage. In GTA Online, the Carbonizzare was removed from sale, but its return in GTA 6 is confirmed. The car will be part of regular traffic in the state of Leonida and may also be available for purchase on in-game websites like Legendary Motorsport or Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
Lore and History in the GTA Series
The Carbonizzare first appeared in GTA V (2013) and quickly became one of the most desirable cars due to its blend of style and performance. In GTA Online, it was a status symbol for players who had amassed wealth. According to in-game lore, the Grotti Carbonizzare is marketed as a "millionaire's sports car," emphasizing its high cost and prestige. In Grand Theft Auto VI, the car is likely to retain this role, becoming a choice for wealthy residents of Vice City. Its design, combining features of different Italian supercars, reflects the globalization of the automotive industry in the GTA world.
